Our products are formulated with non-systemic ingredients that do not enter the bloodstream. We do not use ingredients that are generally known to be avoided while pregnant/breastfeeding. While every ingredient we use in our products is evaluated for safety, we do not specifically test our products on women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Therefore, we highly recommend consulting your doctor prior to making any changes to your skin care routine while pregnant or breastfeeding.

The airless pump on our Intensive Eye Renewal Cream helps increase the longevity of the formula by keeping it air tight and free from bacteria. We recommend priming the pump before using by lightly hitting the bottom of the bottle against your palm 5-7 times to release any air bubbles that may have formed inside. You can do this before you begin using the product, or if you think any air bubbles have formed after using the product. 
We only ship samples with a purchase while supplies last. We are unable to reship samples if they arrive damaged or missing.

Retinol Reform SHOULD NOT be used when you are pregnant and/or breastfeeding. Please consult your physician to determine the best time to start or resume using Retinol Reform after having your baby.
Results will vary depending on your skin type and what you are using Retinol Reform to treat. For acne, you should notice your skin improving after a week and soon see a smoother surface with an increased glow. For reducing discolorations, it may take a few months to see spot lightening benefits. For wrinkles and fine lines, you may notice a visible difference anywhere from a week to a month after beginning use.
Shani believes wearing SPF every day is a must no matter the weather or the products you use. So, always apply sunscreen as part of your skin care routine. Find Shani’s favorite Sunscreens here. With Retinol Reform, stay mindful about this daily practice because retinol can increase your skin’s sensitivity to the sun. When cleansing your skin at night, do not use a scrub or anything abrasive before applying Retinol Reform. Then, follow the serum with your nighttime moisturizer.
You may apply a small amount of retinol under your eyes, being careful to avoid your lashes, eyelid, and lower lid margin. Because the skin surrounding your eyes can be very sensitive, you should start slow — one or two times per week — and build up the frequency of use to minimize possible irritation. Due to the skin's delicate nature, however, all skin types may not be able to handle this under-eye treatment. And, of course, don’t forget to use sunscreen regularly when using a retinol product!

After you cleanse, you may apply a toner like Daily Toning Essence before using retinol.

We are not responsible for personal damage to an item, if an item has been dropped, spilled, stolen, etc. We cannot accept for refund.

Adults who are concerned about or show visible signs of aging such as wrinkles and pigmentation of the face and neck.

Acne sufferers (≥14 years of age) who want to treat their mild to moderate acne outbreaks.

      For users with acne vulgaris the typical appearance of acne is a mixture of the following: greasy skin, red pimples or spots, yellow pus-filled spots and scars.

If you use the Shani Darden by Déesse PRO LED Light Therapy Mask and you are taking any medication that can cause photosensitivity you may cause a severe skin reaction.

      Photosensitivity is a common side effect of various medications. These can include certain antibiotics, chemotherapy drugs, and diuretics. If you are unsure about any medication, consult your healthcare provider.

      Other substances not listed above can also cause photosensitivity.

      Common examples of these substances are: St John’s Wort, coal tar, deodorants, antibacterial soaps, artificial sweeteners, naphthalene (mothballs), petroleum products, brightening agents found in laundry detergent, and cadmium sulphide (a chemical injected into the skin during tattooing).

      Skin agents (acne)

        If YES, and the client is currently on the medication it is at the discretion of the client as to whether they commence the treatment. There is between a 5/100 and a 10/100 chance of a light reaction. If the client has stopped taking the medication for ≥ 5 days then the treatment can be administered.

      Skin agents (hair)

        Coal tar, Minoxidil (Rogaine)

        If YES, and the client is currently on the medication it is at the discretion of the client as to whether they commence the treatment. There is <0.5/100 chance of a light reaction. If the client has stopped taking the medication for ≥ 5 days then the treatment can be administered.

Your subscription will remain active until you cancel.  We bill your credit card the fee stated at the time of purchase plus applicable tax and shipping based on the method you initially selected on your first order every one (1), two (2), three (3), four (4), five (5), or six (6) months depending on the frequency you selected when you enrolled in the subscription.
